This timely solo exhibition by Julya Hajnoczky examines human relationships with the natural world and how ecosystems are changing as we journey through the 'Anthropocene' era. Our current days are remarkable in that, for the first time in our planet's history, the greatest geological and ecological impacts on Earth are being caused by humans. Julya's fascination with the fields of botany and biology, and her interest in traditional natural history practices drive her work.
Please join us for the exhibition opening reception: Saturday February 22, 2020 | 2 - 4 pm.
We'll also be celebrating the launch of Within Winter's Eye by Jan Daley, Marney Delver and Stacey McRae (Main Gallery). Come meet the artists, enjoy some light refreshments and take in the beauty of two exhibitions celebrating our natural world.
