Staff News

The Leighton Foundation Board Of Directors is thrilled to announce that Ms. Stephanie Doll has accepted the role of Executive Director at the Leighton Art Centre, effective immediately. Having first joined LAC as a Summer Museum & Gallery Assistant in 2012, Ms. Doll has spent the past 6 years as the centre's highly regarded Director of Exhibitions, Museum & Programming. Having achieved many professional goals, she now brings to her new role an extensive knowledge of the centre’s history and operations, great relationships with members of the local art and non-profit communities, her love and vision for Leighton Art Centre, and an abundance of fresh energy and talent to make it all happen!

Lindsay Corbet is Leighton Art Centre's new Manager of Exhibitions, Events & Volunteers. Lindsay has been an important part of the LAC family since her very first position here as an Art & Nature Instructor in 2009. For the last six years, Lindsay has been LAC's Manager of Gallery Sales, Volunteers and Special Events, and the rock-solid relationships she has developed with artists, members and volunteers will be valuable assets in her new role. Lindsay will continue to plan special events and coordinate volunteers, while taking on the new challenge of coordinating exhibitions. Lindsay's passion for the arts extends outside work hours and she volunteers with other local organizations such as the Stampede Western Showcase Art Gallery Committee and Okotoks Arts Council, but we're so pleased that Leighton Art Centre will continue to benefit from her energy, enthusiasm and creativity on a daily basis!
