During this month's Create Together workshop, the Leighton Art Centre invites you to explore the fun process of felting. Emma Knox, Art & Nature Educator at the Leighton Art Centre, will be teaching two different workshops, each focused on a different way to approach felting.
Participants will learn basic felting techniques such as the correct way to handle a needle and colour blending, and will create a fiber art landscape image.
Audience: Flat felting is ideal for families with children aged 7 to 13 - please note that sharp needles will be used during the workshop. Safety procedures and proper use of the needle will be covered.
Supplies: All required supplies are included. You may bring an image of a landscape to use as inspiration!
Single participant: $20 (for a single adult or an extra child)
Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children aged 7 – 17): $ 45
Registration closes on Friday March 23rd, 2018 at 7 PM.
