Needle felting is a unique, engaging way to create a piece of art using wool as your medium. Employing a barbed needle and wool roving, you will create a landscape or flower picture to take home! Along the way, you'll learn about wool, wool processing and correct usage of the materials and tools involved. Local fibre artist, Leah Cathleen Donald, has been teaching felting for over 14 years and is excited to share her love of this unique art medium with you. Barbara Leighton believed that every person could be an artist if they found the right medium... perhaps felting is yours. Join us to find out!

"Watching someone work with wool for the first time, seeing their expression as their artwork takes shape, feeling their pride in their creation - these are powerful moments that I look forward to with every class I teach. I am energized by the creative force present in a felting class."
