Impressions Workshop Series – Monoprinting with a Printing Press with Carole Bondaroff

Dive into the fascinating world of the printmaker with artists Carole Bondaroff. Participants will explore the realm of self-expression through the process of monoprinting, a form of printmaking where the image can only be printed once. Carole will guide participants through the stages of painting on a plexi glass surface with watercolours, leading to the image transferring onto paper by using a manual printing press. Children and adults will all enjoy creating a unique image with vibrant colour and texture!

Carole Bondaroff was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax where she received her BFA in Printmaking and Art Education. Carole now lives in Calgary where she is an active artist and art educator. She has taught at the University of Calgary, the Alberta College of Art and Design, the Glenbow Museum, both Calgary School Boards and as an Artist in Residence, Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
